Kristy Juliano, Conductor and Music Director

Kristy Juliano became a full time teacher in the Music Department at Solano Community College in the Fall of 2008 and assumed the duties of Music Director of the Solano Choral Society in the Fall of 2011. She has a Bachelor of Music from San Francisco State University and a Master of Music from California State University at Los Angeles.


In addition to Solano Choral Society, Kristy's classes at Solano Community College are voice and choral classes including Beginning-Advanced Voice, Jazz & Pop Voice, Collegiate Chorale, Vocal and Jazz Ensemble and Chamber Choir. She also teaches Music Fundamentals and Piano.


Kristy brings her over 40 years of experience as a producer (Vallejo and Benicia Jazz Festivals, Messiah Sing-Along), director (Messiah Sing-Along, Vallejo Symphony Chorus, Vocal Expression and musical theater and community productions), private voice and piano teacher and professional performer to her work as Music Director of the Solano Choral Society.


In addition to music, her most special interests are her grandson and granddaughter, her two children, her husband, home, yoga, gardening, walking/hiking, time with good friends and the enjoying the beauty of the Earth.
